Installation & Process

Installation can usually be scheduled within a week, depending on product availability. Since we don’t subcontract and most of our installers work directly for us, we’re able to get your project started quickly.

Most residential installations begin between 8:30–9:30 AM. We can also schedule afternoon appointments upon request. For some commercial projects, we offer overnight and after-hours installation to minimize disruption to your business operations.

Yes, we can move your furniture for a fee. However, we ask that you remove all small items, such as décor and knick-knacks, clear out closets, remove bedding and pillows, and empty drawers before our installers arrive.

As our installers are not licensed for A/V work, we kindly ask that you unplug and disconnect all TVs, electronics, and cables before installation. Once the flooring is complete, you can reconnect them safely at your convenience.

YES! Recycle Recycle Recycle! We also recycle the carpet and padding removed from your home. As a proud member of CARE (Carpet America Recovery Effort), we ensure that old carpet and pad are diverted from landfills and sent to certified recycling facilities instead.

Carpet Care & Performance

  • Carpet style: Low-pile, looped, or patterned carpets tend to show seams more clearly than plush or textured styles.
  • Fiber not yet blossomed: When carpet is first installed, the fibers may still be compressed from being rolled in storage. As the carpet settles and the fibers “blossom” over time with vacuuming and regular use, seams typically become less visible.
  • Lighting: Sunlight or overhead lighting can hit the seams at certain angles, making them appear more visible.
  • Fiber direction: The way the carpet fibers lay can reflect light differently along the seam line.

These marks are called crush marks and occur when carpet fibers become compressed while rolled and stored in the warehouse. Since carpet fibers are soft, they may appear flattened when first installed. Over time, with regular vacuuming, foot traffic, and exposure to airflow, the fibers naturally “blossom” and return to their normal appearance.

Carpet buckling often occurs from excess moisture, heat, or humidity changes. In the Coachella Valley, this is especially common when homeowners leave during the summer months and turn off their A/C—causing indoor temperatures to exceed 80°F. The heat and humidity can cause the carpet backing to expand and loosen. Additionally, DIY carpet shampooing can leave behind excess water, further weakening the fibers. In most cases, the carpet simply needs to be professionally restretched.

Flooring Options & Cleaning

To clean LVP floors, dilute a mild cleaning solution with water and use a damp or dry mop. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, and never use excessive water, as standing moisture can seep into seams and cause damage. Regular sweeping or vacuuming will also help maintain their appearance.

Professional cleaning: Have your carpet professionally cleaned at least once a year to maintain its appearance and warranty.

Regular maintenance: Vacuum regularly to remove dirt and debris before it settles into the fibers.

Spot cleaning: Blot spills immediately with a clean, white cloth to absorb the liquid—don’t rub, as it can spread the stain. Use a small amount of mild detergent mixed with water, dab gently, then blot dry. Avoid soaking the area to prevent moisture damage.

Refer to the manufacturer’s warranty for approved cleaning methods—see store for more information.

Avoid DIY shampooing: Home carpet cleaners often leave behind excess moisture, which can damage the carpet backing and cause buckling.

What type of vacuum should I use?

For soft surface (carpet): Use a vacuum with adjustable height settings and strong suction without a beater bar for looped or soft carpets. For cut-pile carpets, a beater bar or rotating brush can be used but should be set to the proper height to avoid fiber damage. Check man guidelines and recs.
